About Zaui



Zaui is a reservation software designed for the tour, activity, and transportation industries, especially popular with medium to small operators in Canada and Norway. If you're working with a reseller using Zaui as their reservation software, you can use this connection to automate your processes with them. To learn more about Zaui visit https://www.zaui.com/.

Connection Capabilities



📅 Live Availability


A reseller using Zaui will be able to access your product availability from Ventrata in real-time.

🏷️ Live Pricing


A reseller using Zaui will be able to access your product retail pricing from Ventrata in real-time. Note that net (wholesale) pricing are not being pulled automatically and need to be managed manually by your reseller in their Zaui system.

🎟️ Booking


A reseller using Zaui will be able make a reservation (pending booking to hold availability), confirm, cancel and amend bookings in your Ventrata system and obtain scan-ready barcode/qrcode from Ventrata. Note that PDF vouchers are not currently supported.

Setting up the Connection


Create Reseller in Ventrata. If you haven't yet, create your Reseller and configure it's settings (band, commission, products, etc.).
Create a Connection in Ventrata. In your Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections, then click + New Connection and select Zaui from the list of available options. Set the connection Name, link the Reseller created in Step 1, and click Create Connection. If necessary, you may also whitelist/blacklist destinations or products you wish this connection to have access to.

Mapping Products



Share Mapping Information with your Zaui-powered Reseller. In your Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections, then select your Zaui connection from the list of created connections (see section above). The connection page will display the API Key as well as the list of products you have made available on this connection (based on reseller, reseller band and connection settings) with their IDs. Contact your reseller requesting to have your products connected to "Ventrata OCTO", providing them with the API Key shown on the connection page.
Reseller will follow steps in their Zaui system in order to completed the connection and map your products.

Frequently Asked Questions



Why can I not find the product on the dropdown when mapping?

Make sure the product is whitelisted for the Connection, Reseller and/or Reseller Band linked to it, and check if the Product is made available to Direct API channel.
