Flight Centre is an Australian-headquartered travel agency group describing itself as the world's largest, trading across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. It sells flights, accommodation, holiday packages, tours, and cruises through retail stores, phone consultants, and its own apps, putting attraction inventory in front of agent-advised leisure travellers. Flight Centre uses Cobber (Respax Livn) as its primary booking system.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Flight Centre by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:
Sync availability and pricing for your Flight Centre products with Ventrata.
Receive bookings, updates, and cancellations from Flight Centre to Ventrata.

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Flight Centre API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Flight Centre for them to sell your products.
Flight Centre created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Flight Centre' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Flight Centre
Select 'Flight Centre' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Flight Centre connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.
📗 TIP
If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Flight Centre connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Flight Centre contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Flight Centre team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

Flight Centre can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
