Banner Tours sells guided tours and experiences online, trading in New York City as Star Liberty Tour with a ninety-minute Hudson River sightseeing cruise passing the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and lower Manhattan. The connection pushes live availability, pricing, and capacity to Banner Tours and returns bookings, changes, and cancellations directly into Ventrata.

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Banner Tours API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Banner Tours for them to sell your products.
Banner Tours created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Banner Tours' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Banner Tours
Select 'Banner Tours' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.
Select Banner Tours Reseller
(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Banner Tours connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Banner Tours connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Banner Tours contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Banner Tours team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

After every fare change, update the product mapping to ensure the partner tier counts are synced with Ventrata. Ensure the fare is enabled for sale over Direct API.
