Visit Britain Shop is the official store of the British Tourist Board, selling attraction entry, multi-attraction passes such as the London Explorer Pass, and transport products including Oyster cards, Travelcards, and BritRail passes. Demand comes from international visitors paying before they arrive. London and major heritage landmarks dominate the storefront.
Visit Britain Shop uses TXGB as its primary booking system. TXGB may charge you connection fees.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Visit Britain Shop by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Visit Britain Shop API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Visit Britain Shop for them to sell your products.
Visit Britain Shop created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Visit Britain Shop' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Visit Britain Shop
Select 'Visit Britain Shop' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Visit Britain Shop connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Visit Britain Shop connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Visit Britain Shop contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Visit Britain Shop team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.
