BigEasy.com is the booking front for Hospitality Enterprises, a family-owned New Orleans tourism group whose brands include Creole Queen riverboat cruises, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours, and City Sightseeing New Orleans. It sells swamp, ghost, plantation, and walking tours, hotels, and airport and charter transportation across Louisiana and into Natchez, Mississippi.
This connection enables you to sell your products on BigEasy.com by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:
Sync availability and pricing for your BigEasy.com products with Ventrata.
Receive bookings, updates, and cancellations from BigEasy.com to Ventrata.

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the BigEasy.com API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with BigEasy.com for them to sell your products.
BigEasy.com created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'BigEasy.com' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select BigEasy.com
Select 'BigEasy.com' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple BigEasy.com connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple BigEasy.com connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your BigEasy.com contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the BigEasy.com team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

BigEasy.com can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
