Holidu Smart Destination, the German destination-management software formerly sold as TOMAS and my.IRS, supplies regional tourism boards with reservation, content, and reporting tools for accommodation, experiences, ticketing, and vouchers. It sits behind destination websites across Germany and Austria rather than reselling inventory itself, so demand arrives through the tourism organisations that run those sites.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Holidu Smart Destination by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Holidu Smart Destination API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Holidu Smart Destination for them to sell your products.
Holidu Smart Destination created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Holidu Smart Destination' from the list of partners.

Select 'Holidu Smart Destination' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Holidu Smart Destination connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Holidu Smart Destination connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Holidu Smart Destination contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Holidu Smart Destination team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

Holidu Smart Destination can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
