When using virtual locations, you can track moving vehicles (for example, Hop On Hop Off operations) and attribute sales to the correct location.
Create Virtual Location
In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Ticket Terminals > Locations.

Press the + New Location button.

In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Ticket Terminals > Locations.

Select an existing location or create a new one.
Check the 'Allow Location Change' checkbox.
In the 'Virtual Locations' field, choose all the virtual locations the device can switch between.

Configure the location to your needs.
Press the Update Location button, or Create Location button if this is a new location.
Enable Location Service on Adyen Devices
Log in to an Adyen device using the Ventrata Terminal app.
Select a location.
Select Location
The device may take several seconds to automatically open the system location settings.
In the device settings, toggle 'Use location' ON.

Reopen the Ventrata terminal app.
Go to the Settings
tab. In the Device Info section, check the device connectivity status.
📒 NOTE
A GPS Unavailable label (yellow band) is displayed until the device successfully connects. This may take several minutes.
If the device is used indoors and does not connect to GPS for an extended period, the signal may be weak. Move the device closer to a window to improve signal strength.
Once the device connects and location services are available, the label disappears.
