Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Civitatis API, ensure you have:
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Civitatis' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Civitatis
Select 'Civitatis' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.
Select Civitatis Reseller
(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Civitatis connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Civitatis connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Civitatis contact and ask for them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Civitatis team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.
