City Experiences is Hornblower's consolidated umbrella brand for sightseeing and dining cruises, walking tours, food tours, and national park ferries. It trades through City Cruises, Walks, Devour Tours, NYC Ferry, and site-specific brands at the Statue of Liberty, Alcatraz, and Niagara Falls, spanning more than thirty US cities plus Canada, Western Europe, and Australia. City Experiences uses Anchor as their primary booking system.
This connection enables you to sell your products on City Experiences by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:
Sync availability and pricing for your City Experiences products with Ventrata.
Receive bookings, updates, and cancellations from City Experiences to Ventrata.

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the City Experiences API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with City Experiences for them to sell your products.
City Experiences created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'City Experiences' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select City Experiences
Select 'City Experiences' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.
Select City Experiences
(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple City Experiences connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.
📗 TIP
If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple City Experiences connections linked to one reseller.
Press the Create Octo Connection button.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your City Experiences contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the City Experiences team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

City Experiences can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
