Local Experiences is a tours and activities retailer selling guided walks, skip-the-line tickets, and short experiences across European cities including Rome, Paris, Athens, Barcelona, Venice, and Florence, plus Dubai. It resells operator inventory rather than running tours itself, covers more than 20 tour languages, and takes group bookings alongside individual travellers at accessible price points.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Local Experiences by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Local Experiences API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Local Experiences for them to sell your products.
Local Experiences created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Local Experiences' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Local Experiences
Select 'Local Experiences' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.
Select Local Experiences Reseller
(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Local Experiences connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Local Experiences connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Local Experiences contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Local Experiences team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

Local Experiences can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
