Spur Experiences is a United States platform built around gifting experiences rather than objects, selling digital and physical gift cards, curated activity boxes, and wedding registry listings through The Knot, Joy, and Zola. Vouchers do not expire, and recipients can swap between experiences. Its demand is gift buyers and engaged couples, an occasion-driven audience outside normal travel-planning windows.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Spur Experiences by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Spur Experiences API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Spur Experiences for them to sell your products.
Spur Experiences created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Spur Experiences' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Spur Experiences
Select 'Spur Experiences' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Spur Experiences connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Spur Experiences connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Spur Experiences contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Spur Experiences team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

Spur Experiences can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
