VenueApp is a New Orleans discovery platform mapping the city's music venues, restaurants, bars, and festivals by neighbourhood, with weekly curated picks from local hosts. It sells tours and attraction tickets alongside that editorial content, reaching visitors and residents choosing plans in-destination rather than travellers buying before arrival.
This connection enables you to sell your products on VenueApp by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the VenueApp API, ensure you have:
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'VenueApp' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select VenueApp
Select 'VenueApp' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple VenueApp connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.
📗 TIP
If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple VenueApp connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your VenueApp contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the VenueApp team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

VenueApp can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
