GlobalTix is a Singapore-based booking and distribution platform for the tourism industry, whose B2B marketplace puts attraction and tour inventory in front of roughly 12,000 travel agents and OTAs. It reports 150,000-plus experiences listed and 25 million tickets issued annually, concentrated in Asia-Pacific, where it also handles multi-currency payments through GT Pay.

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the GlobalTix API, ensure you have:
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'GlobalTix' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select GlobalTix
Select 'GlobalTix' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple GlobalTix connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple GlobalTix connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your GlobalTix contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the GlobalTix team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

GlobalTix can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
