Tourbase is a franchised marketplace for tours and activities, with locally owned booking sites covering more than 24 destinations across Alaska, the Mountain West, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Franchisees vet operators in their own territory and sell with video previews and phone advice, so demand arrives curated rather than at long-tail marketplace scale.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Tourbase by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Tourbase API, ensure you have:
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Tourbase' from the list of partners.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select Tourbase
Select 'Tourbase' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.
Select Tourbase Reseller
(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Tourbase connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Tourbase connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Tourbase contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Tourbase team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.

Tourbase can access all products enabled on the connection, but you can also provide the Product and Option IDs from the connection page when contacting them to specify what to map.
