How to Override Availability

Sellers can override availability in the Ventrata terminal app to make bookings above the limit when appropriate.

Certain attractions may be visited by a limited number of people at certain times and bookings above the set limit are generally not possible. You may enable the 'Override Availability' function in the Ventrata terminal app to allow sellers make bookings above the limit when appropriate.


This can be achieved by ticking the 'Allow Freesale' option on the following items in the Ventrata dashboard:

Locations

  1. Go to Ticket Terminals > Locations.

  2. Select the location in which you want to be able to override availability.

  3. Scroll towards the middle of the location form.

  4. Check the 'Allow Freesale' box.

  5. Press the Update Location button at the bottom of the location form.

Products

  1. Go to Products > Products.

  2. Select the product in which you want to be able to override availability.

  3. Press the pen and paper icon next to the product name to edit the product.

  4. Scroll to the middle of the product form or simply search 'Allow Freesale'.

  5. Tick the Allow Freesale box.

  6. Press the Update Product button at the bottom of the product form.

Reseller

To allow freesale for a reseller in Concierge mode, check the 'Allow Freesale' box on the reseller form, too.

  1. Go to Resellers > Resellers.

  2. Select the reseller you want to enable to sell bookings above the fixed capacity.

  3. Press the Edit Details button.

  4. Scroll to the middle of the reseller form or simply search for 'Allow Freesale'.

  5. Check the 'Allow Freesale' box.

  6. At the bottom of the reseller form, press the Update Reseller button.
