Gratuity
Before completing a payment, customers can enter a tip amount for the service provided.
📒 NOTE
To enable gratuity, make sure it is enabled in the Location settings and that your card terminals are integrated with Adyen. Learn more about the Gratuity feature here.
Tap the 'Gratuity' label, select one of the predefined tips or enter your own value, select the payment method to complete the order.

Gratuity is then displayed on the transaction detail of the booking in the Backoffice.

Split Payments
Split to Equal Parts
Tap the 'Split payment' label and choose the number of parts the payment will be divided into. Then, select the payment methods used to complete the order.

Each transaction is then recorded in the booking detail in the Backoffice.

Change Value
You can split payments by adjusting the amounts for each transaction until the balance is fully paid.
Tap on the amount in the 'Balance' field and change it to the desired amount. Then, select a payment method and press the Pay Now button. Repeat these steps until the balance is zero.

Pay by Card
Depending on the capabilities of your terminal device, credit and debit card can be accepted as payment through the terminal app.
For external payments, the Ventrata developed command mode can also be used.

Tap to Pay on Android
Use any Android device with NFC capability as a contactless payment terminal.
Make sure your setup includes:
Android version 12 or higher
An Adyen Merchant account set up for you
An Adyen gateway configured in your Ventrata dashboard
To accept a payment, select the 'Card' payment method and hold a phone, smartwatch, or credit/debit card near the NFC reader.
📒 NOTE
Tap to Pay on Android is only available in Live mode. This functionality cannot be tested without processing real transactions.

Pay by Cash
Use this option to record any cash payment. Enter the amount received from the customer in the 'Amount tendered' field and the change will be automatically calculated and displayed on the screen.

Pay with Gift Cards
Gift cards are a versatile payment method in that they can be used to pay the whole booking if the store value has sufficient funds, or multiple gift cards can be used to cover the payment. If that is not enough, another payment method can still be used to pay the remaining amount.
📗 TIP
When gift cards have the same reference, see 'Barcode Alias', they all appear when the gift reference is entered or card is scanned. This can mean that the gift cards belong to the same reseller.

Send Payment Link
Create balance due bookings for phone and group sales and let customers pay later using a secure payment link.

Until the customer uses the link to pay for the booking, the booking remains balance due in the Backoffice.

Other
Other payment methods may include checks or bank transfers. When selecting Other, enter the reference of the chosen payment method to ensure accurate record keeping.

QR Code
Allow customers to pay using a QR code. You have two options:
have customers scan a payment code, or
manually enter a payment code
This payment method is available on Adyen devices, Desktop POS and kiosks.
📒 NOTE
Ensure WeChat Pay or Alipay are listed in the 'Allowed Payment Brands (for POS)' field of your Adyen gateway.
