The default product arrangement in the checkout often does not align with your preferred order. With Categories, you gain full control over how products are displayed during checkout.
Start by creating a category, arranging the products in your desired order, and assigning the category to the relevant checkout.
Create Category
In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Products > Category.
Press the + NEW CATEGORY button on the far right of the screen.

Enter the category name.
Then, select all the products that will be displayed in the checkout.

You can leave out products included in a package if they should not be sold on their own.
Then press the Create Category button.
Re-Order Products
Select your newly created category.
In the Product List tab, you will find the list of products in the category.

If you are using destinations, the products are grouped by destination. Switch destinations using the dropdown field.
To change the order of products, grab the three lines next to any product and move it to its new position.
Assign Category to Checkout
In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Web Checkouts > Checkouts.
Select the relevant checkout.
Press the EDIT DETAILS button.
Scroll down the checkout form or search for 'All Products Category'.
Select the category which was created earlier.
Press the Update Checkout button to save your changes.

Your products are now arranged in the order best fits your business needs. Any adjustments you make to this category will automatically be reflected at checkout.
