Contact fields appear on the Checkout page of the web checkout.

Checkout - Contact Details

These fields are configured for each product in the Ventrata dashboard. Follow these steps to configure the contact fields for each of your products.

Configure Contact Fields:

  1. In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Products > Products.

  2. Select an existing product.

  3. On the product level, go to the Fields tab.

  4. At the bottom of the tab, select 'Web Checkout'.

  5. Select which contact fields will be visible and required during checkout. These can be configured for individual tickets or bookings.

  6. Press the SAVE CHANGES button to save your settings.


Supported Contact Fields

The same set of fields is supported for both individual tickets and bookings. Hereโ€™s a breakdown of the supported fields:

  • Salutation - preferred form of address for the customer, for example, Mr., Mrs., or Ms.

๐Ÿ“’ NOTE

Displayed as 'Title' in the checkout. However, the 'Title' field below is not supported in the web checkout.

  • Full Name - customer's complete name, which may include their first, middle and last name(s)

  • First Name - customer's first name, which may include a middle name if applicable

  • Last Name - customer's last name, which may consist of one or more family names

๐Ÿ“’ NOTE

You can display 'Full Name' or 'First/Last Name', but not all three simultaneously, 'Full Name' is a combination of the other two. If all three fields are selected, only 'Full Name' will be displayed and the other two will be deselected.

  • Email - customer's email address

  • Mobile - customer's mobile phone number

  • Language - customer's preferred language for communication

  • Country - customer's country of residence

  • Address - street name and number of the customer's residence

  • City - city where the customer resides

  • State/Province - state (as in the USA or Mexico) or province (as in Canada or Switzerland) where the customer lives

  • ZIP/Postal Code - ZIP or postal code corresponding to the customer's address

  • Notes - a free-text field for customers to include notes at checkout

  • Marketing - an opt-in checkbox for the customer to subscribe to receive marketing communication from your company

  • Tax ID - customer's tax identification number


Unsupported Fields

The following fields are not supported on the Checkout page, even though they are selectable in the Ventrata dashboard.

  • Age - customer's age

  • Company - organisation where the customer is currently employed

  • Department - department within the customer's place of employment

  • Tax Office - tax office where the customer files or reports their taxes
