Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before you begin, you must have a supplier account with Viator and your products created in their Management Center. To configure this connection, log into your Admin account.

You must have Viator created as a Reseller in Ventrata with their pricing (retail, wholesale/commission) defined correctly. This API connection requires that the reseller is set to the "Bill to my account" settlement method.
To set up your Viator connection for the first time, you need to first set Ventrata as your reservation system in Viator Management Center, and then create a connection in Ventrata:
Step 1: Set Ventrata as Reservation System to your Viator account
Log in to Viator Supplier Management Center.
Click on your account name in the top-right corner.
Select 'Account'.

Go to the 'Connectivity' tab.
Set/change your reservation system to Ventrata.
Press the Connect Now button if you don't have the API connected now.
Press the Edit button if you are connected to another system.
Ventrata receives and automatically accepts the invitation to your account and automatically completes all other settings (including API key) when you create a connection in Ventrata.

Step 2: Create Connection in Ventrata
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button, and select 'Viator' from the list of partners.

Select 'Viator' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

In the 'Viator Supplier Code' field, enter your 'Viator Supplier ID', which can be found next to your name in Viator Supplier Management Center.

Optional) You can also set the connection name of your choosing, which may be helpful if you have multiple Viator connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.
📗 TIP
If needed, you can also whitelist/blacklist products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Viator connections linked to one reseller.
Mapping Products
Once the connection is created, you can start linking your Viator products & options to corresponding Ventrata products & options - the process called "mapping". This can be done in either of these two ways:

In Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Select the 'Viator' connection that you want to use for product mapping.
📒 NOTE
The Connections page displays a table with your GetYourGuide products and options (listings) on the left, and the currently mapped Ventrata products and options on the right. Any active listings that are unmapped or incorrectly mapped are highlighted in red.Press the Viator listing you want to map.
Select the Ventrata product and, if prompted, the option that you want this listing to be connected to.
Press the Update Mapping button. Ventrata automatically completes the product mapping in the Viator portal and connects your product.

Log in to Viator Supplier Management Center, go to Products.
Click the Manage button next to the Viator product listing you would like to connect.
Under the 'Product Connection' tab, select an option you want to connect and click the Edit button next to it.
Use a reservation system and select Ventrata from the dropdown list displayed.
Next, select the Ventrata Product and Option this Viator listing needs to be connected to from the dropdown list displayed.
Press Save.
