With each purchase, the system automatically rounds up the total amount to the nearest whole dollar.

πŸ“˜ EXAMPLE

If a purchase totals $25.30, the system rounds it up to $26. The extra amount resulting from rounding up is then directed towards a charity designated by your operation.

By participating in the charity roundup, customers join in supporting important causes and making a positive impact in the community.

To enhance user experience, this feature has been incorporated under the Extras tab. This allows customers to easily opt-in to charity roundup during the checkout process.

While this setup currently applies only to the new web checkout, we are gradually transitioning the charity roundup feature setup from the product detail to the Extras settings for all other channels. Please begin migrating your existing charity roundup opt-ins as well as implementing any new ones into the Extras settings, using this guide.

Charity Roundup Flow

The customer selects a product where a charity roundup extra is available. On the Tickets page, a opt-in checkbox appears below the unit selectors. When the customer selects a ticket, the roundup price is displayed below the charity roundup message and the checkbox becomes clickable. Once the checkbox is clicked, the price on the right-hand side displays the price including the roundup.

Charity Roundup: Inactive & Active

A small question mark appears next to the charity roundup checkbox label, which when clicked displays more details about where the donations are directed towards. This is where your description goes from the roundup creation above.
