Problem

After payment, VivaWallet does not redirect the customer to your successful payment page, they stay on the VivaWallet success page instead.

πŸ“’ NOTE

If the success URL is not set correctly, the order will still show up as PENDING. After 30 minutes the order changes status from PENDING to CONFIRMED.


Solution

Set the correct success and failure URL redirects in your VivaWallet account.


πŸ“• IMPORTANT

Make sure the payment confirmation and failure redirects to the correct page. If the customer is not sent to the right page, the GA4 purchase event will not be tracked, and important data will be missing.


To change the success and failure URL redirect,

  1. Sign in to your VivaWallet account.

  2. Select Sales.

  3. Go to Online Payments > Websites/Apps.

  4. Press the name of the app in the 'Description' column, where the VivaWallet payment gateway is used.

  5. Enter the correct redirects to both the 'Success URL' and 'Failure URL' fields.

  6. Press the Update button.
