In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Ticket Terminals > Configs.

In the action bar, press the + New Config button.

Select 'Scanner' from the list.

Enter a name for the config.

Select 'Cradle'.

Press the Create Config button.

Then, go to Ticket Terminals > Terminals.

Select the PAX A920Pro terminal you will be using.

In the 'Configs' field, select the scanner config you created above.

Press the Update Terminal button to save your changes.

Plug the USB-C cable into the cradle'sUSB-C port labeled Power. Make sure the other end is connected to a power source.

Connect the Zebra scanner using the USB port labeled USB Host.

Scan the below barcode with the connected Zebra scanner to set scanner factory defaults.

Place the PAX A920Pro device into the cradle.

Allow the app to enable bluetooth.

Skip the initial list of docking stations, which will be empty.

Open the Ventrata terminal app on the A920Pro device.

Go to the Settings tab.

Scroll to the Cradles section.

Select Pair with a new device .

Select a cradle with a matching model and serial number.

📗 TIP

You can find the model and serial number (S/N) on the back of your cradle device.

Enter the PAX cradle pairing PIN.

📒 NOTE

Please contact your Customer Success Representative or chat support if you are unsure of the PIN.

Select Use cradle USB scanner when available to enable the Zebra scanner on the terminal. Make sure the label says 'Yes'.

Go to the Scan tab.

Use the Zebra scanner to scan tickets and vouchers as you normally would with the terminal's built-in scanner.
