The Ventrata terminal app is compatible with the Android and iOS devices, as well as specialised payment terminals, integrating booking and payment functionalities into a single device.
Android Devices
Download the Ventrata terminal app from Google Play Store for Android smartphones and tablets.
Apple App Store
Download the app from the Apple App Store for iPhones and iPads.
Payment Terminals
The app comes pre-installed on Ventrata-supported terminal devices.
Navigation
The app can be navigated through the bottom nav bar, which consists of the following tabs:

Dashboard
You can see a detailed breakdown of your sales by payment method (Card, Cash, Voucher). If targets have been set by the operator, you will see them here.

Sales
Use this tab to sell tickets or make bookings. The top of the page is populated by information about the operator:
what currency is being used,
which seller is logged in,
which location it is being used in.
To change either setting, tap the respective label and select a different currency/location/seller from the list.

The bottom half of the page is used to make bookings and ticket sales. The following types of sales are supported:
Reseller Gift Voucher

Scan
Collect tickets from customers by scanning a ticket barcode or typing the booking reference code manually using the app keyboard.

Counters
With attractions that use turnstiles or similar means of validation, counters is a useful tool to keep track of entries and exits where there are capacity restrictions.

Manifests
If a user is set up as a driver, this tab lists their bookings for any day within the next year. Using the Today, Tomorrow or Other day tabs the driver can access their bookings for the given day.

Customer Support
Tap the question mark icon to bring up a chat window that allows you to reach out to our customer support specialists. Just type your message and the first available member of our team will respond to your query.

Inbox
This tab is used for internal communication between the terminal user and dashboard admin. You can find all the messages that have been exchanged between the two parties.

New messages can be created using the green plus icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

New incoming messages are shown in an orange band at the top of the screen and a number on the inbox icon on the navigation bar.

Settings
You can perform administrative tasks relating to your account and orders. This is also where you can locate device and supplier information as well as report any problems with the device or the app.

End Shift
Press the End Shift button at the end of your shift to upload logs the device has gathered during your shift and allow your account to reconcile.

Log Out
Press the Log Out button to secure your device. A Pin or NFC tag is required to log back in.

Supplier
Name and location (if available) of the operator supplying the tour.

Orders
Lists all of the booking and orders you made during your shift. You can also cancel an order form here (depending on your dashboard settings, you may need the supervisor Pin to finish the cancellation).

Device Info
This section displays the device name and ID.

Upload Logs
Manually upload the device logs. When you end your shift, the logs are uploaded automatically.

Report Error
Send a message to the app provider in case you encounter any errors. Describe the error as clearly as possible.
