How to Use Direct Reseller Sale

A Direct Reseller Sale is made for the reseller, who earns a percentage from selling your products.

Prerequisites:

  • The desired resellers are whitelisted on the Location.

  • The Location has at least one of the 'Allowed Settlement Methods' enabled.

  • The resellers have the corresponding settlement methods allowed.

  1. In the Ventrata terminal app, go to the Sales tab.

  2. Tap the Direct Reseller Sale button.

  3. Select the reseller you are doing the booking for.

  4. On the Take photo page, take a picture of the voucher by tapping the blue circle at the bottom of the screen.

    📗 TIP

    You can retake the picture using the cycling arrows symbol in the bottom-left corner of the screen, or skip the photo by pressing the Skip button in the top-right corner.


  5. Press the Done button to move to the next step.

  6. On the Add Voucher page, press the Add voucher photo field to include additional photos of the voucher.

  7. Use 'Code' field to enter the voucher code:

    • Automatically - use the camera icon to scan the voucher; the code is filled in automatically

    • Manually - use the keyboard icon to enter the voucher code

    The 'Code' field is mandatory only if the 'Voucher Required' field is enabled on the reseller detail.

  8. When ready, press the Continue button.

  9. Select the product category.

  11. Fill in the booking form for the product.

  12. Press the Add button.

  13. Select which products the customer wants to redeem right away and which ones later.

    You may also press the Redeem All button to check all products and continue.

  14. Press the Continue button.

  15. On the Delivery Method page, select the delivery mode by tapping the green button :

    • Ticket Per Person (default value) - one ticket for each person in the group

    • Single Group Ticket - one ticket for the entire group

  16. Select one or more delivery methods:

    • Print Tickets - if a printer is available, tickets are printed out on the device

    • Send via SMS - select a country code and enter the customer's phone number

    • Send via Email - enter the customer's email address

    • Send via QR code - a QR code is generated on your device after the tickets are paid for, the customer can take a picture of it and keep the ticket(s) on their phone

  17. If the Scan City Pass delivery method was selected, select each order and scan the customer's City Pass.

  18. Press the Continue button.

  19. Select a payment method:


    📗 TIP

    You have the option to split payments into several equal parts. Tap the 'Split payment' label to select the number of parts, then select the payment methods.


    • Card

    • Cash - enter the amount received from the customer in the 'Amount tendered' field, in the next step the app will calculate the change for the customer

    • Gift Card - scan the card's QR code or enter its reference number using the app keyboard

    • Other - manually enter the method's reference number in the 'Reference' field

  20. Press the Pay Now button at the bottom of the page and request the selected payment method from the customer.

  21. Once the tickets are delivered and paid for, a confirmation page is shown and a new order can be placed on the device.
