How to Use Quick Sale

Quick Sale is designed to enable you to sell products in just a few straightforward steps.

Add Presets to Location

Prerequisites:

  • Presets are created in the dashboard.
    ​

  1. In your Ventrata dashboard, go to Ticket Terminals > Locations.

  2. Make sure the correct destination is selected.

  3. Select an existing location or create a new location for your presets.
    ​

  4. Scroll down the location form or simply search for 'presets'.

  5. Select the presets you wish to add to this location.

    You can add as many presets to one location as you like. You can have the same preset on multiple locations.


  6. Press the Update Location button to save your changes.

Quick Sale Flow

  1. In the Ventrata terminal app, go to the Sales tab.

  2. Tap the Quick Sale button.

  3. Select a product by selecting the number of tickets.

  4. If Extras are available, you have the option to add extras at the indicated price tag.

    Tour times during quick sale default to the next available tour or a preselected tour for a specific time, both indicated below the number of tickets.

  5. Press the Checkout button at the bottom of the page.

    Select Product & Press Checkout

  6. On the Delivery Method page, select the delivery mode by tapping the green button:
    ​

    • Ticket Per Person (default value) - one ticket for each person in the group

    • Single Group Ticket - one ticket for the entire group
      ​

  7. Select delivery method:
    ​

    • Print Tickets - if a printer is available, you can print out the tickets

    • Send via SMS - select country code and enter phone number

    • Send via Email - enter email address

    • Send via QR code - a QR code is generated on your device after the tickets are paid for, the customer can take a picture of it and keep the ticket(s) on their phone

    • Scan City Pass - guidance in the next step

  8. If the Scan City Pass delivery method was selected, select each order and scan the customer's City Pass.

  9. Press the Continue button.

  10. Select a payment method:


    πŸ“— TIP

    You have the option to split payments into several equal parts. Tap the 'Split payment' label to select the number of parts, then select the payment methods.


    ​

    • Card

    • Cash - enter the amount received from the customer in the 'Amount tendered' field, in the next step the app will calculate the change for the customer

    • Gift Card - scan the card's QR code or enter its reference number using the app keyboard

    • Other - manually enter the method's reference number in the 'Reference' field
      ​

  11. Press the Pay Now button at the bottom of the page and request the selected payment method from the customer.

  12. Once the tickets are delivered and paid for, a confirmation page is shown and a new order can be placed on the device.
