Frekuent is a Barcelona-based payment and loyalty platform for unattended, self-service environments, with more than 10,000 systems installed and 2.5 million users. It sells your products at self-service points — kiosks at bus stops, devices on board vehicles, terminals at transport hubs — so travelers tap a card and receive their ticket at the device, with no staff and no counter.
This API connection enables Frekuent to resell your products in a more automated way, eliminating the need to manually manage product content, availability, pricing and bookings. Capabilities of this connection allow you to:
Sync products and their content to Frekuent.
Sync availability and pricing for your products with Frekuent.
Receive bookings, updates, and cancellations from Frekuent to Ventrata.
Issue tickets from Ventrata to Frekuent customers instantly at the device.

Creating Connection
Before you begin:
You must have a commercial agreement with Frekuent for them to resell your products. To inquire about partnering with them, please contact Javier Gumà ([email protected]), Partnership Manager @ Frekuent.
You must have Frekuent created as a Reseller in Ventrata with their pricing (retail, wholesale/commission) defined correctly. Note that this API connection requires that the reseller is set to the "Bill to my account" settlement method.
In Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections → Connections, click + New Connection, and select Frekuent from the list of partners.
Select Frekuent Reseller from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection). The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.
(Optional) You can also set the connection Name of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Frekuent connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future. If needed, you can also allow/disallow products, destinations, or items on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Frekuent connections linked to one reseller.
Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Frekuent contact and ask for them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API.
(Optional) While the Frekuent team can access the full list of products you've enabled for them on the connection, you can also specify which product you would like them to map by providing the Product and Option IDs displayed on the connection page when you contact them.
