How to Create Combinations (Cross-Sell)

Combinations offer a way to offer customers other products IN ADDITION to the one they already selected.

Updated over a week ago

What are combinations?

The customer selects a product, number of tickets, and tour time. Before the selection of a payment method, if certain conditions are met, the customer may select another product to add to their purchase.

There are three main reasons why an operation would make this decision:

  1. One or all of the included products are do not sell well on their own, because they are sold for free, uninteresting or they are a loss maker, and bundling them generates profit.

  2. You want to make sure your product is sold. Say, you operate a Hop on Hop off business, which gives you the opportunity to advertise, sell bottles of water, or upgrade them to additional days.

  3. The two products together are popular, so it makes sense to sell them together.

Combination products can be sold at full price, or more often than not, at a discounted price.
