How to connect your Spotlight.Vegas products to Ventrata to sync product availability, pricing, & bookings

โ€‹Spotlight.Vegas is an online platform offering comprehensive information and ticketing services for Las Vegas shows, attractions, and hotels. It provides exclusive ticket discounts, last-minute deals, and guarantees the lowest prices for various entertainment options in Las Vegas.

This connection enables you to sell your products on Spotlight.Vegas in a more automated way, eliminating the need to manually manage availability, pricing, and bookings. Capabilities of this connection allow you to:

  • Sync availability, pricing for your Spotlight.Vegas products with Ventrata.

  • Receive bookings, updates, cancellations from Spotlight.Vegas to Ventrata.

  • Issue vouchers/tickets from Ventarta to Spotlight.Vegas customers instantly.

Creating Connection

Before you begin:

  • You must have a commercial agreement with Spotlight.Vegas for them to sell your products. To inquire about partnering with them, contact them via https://spotlight.vegas/contact/

  • You must have Spotlight.Vegas created as a Reseller in Ventrata with their pricing (retail, wholesale/commission) defined correctly. Note that this API connection requires that the reseller is set to "Bill to my account" settlement method.

  1. In Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections โ†’ Connections, click + New Connection, and select Spotlight.Vegas from the list of partners.

  2. Select Spotlight.Vegas Reseller from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating connection). The connection will inherit reseller's configuration like pricing, whitelisted destinations, products, etc.

  3. (Optional) You can also set the connection Name of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Spotlight.Vegas connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future. If needed, you can also whitelist/blacklist products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Spotlight.Vegas connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products

  1. Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Spotlight.Vegas contact and ask for them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically it takes no longer than a few business days for the Spotlight.Vegas team to complete this.

  2. (Optional) While Spotlight.Vegas team can access the full list of products you've enabled for them on the connection, you can also specify which product you would like them to map by providing the Product and Option IDs displayed on the connection page when you contact them.

No products are displayed on the connection page.

Please check double-check which destinations, products and options are whitelisted/blacklisted on reseller and connection. If this does not resolve, check if your products and options are made available for sales on the Direct API source. If the issue persists, please contact our support team.
