This connection enables you to sell your products on Xplorie in a more automated way, eliminating the need to manually manage availability, pricing, and bookings. Capabilities of this connection allow you to:

  • Sync availability, and pricing for your Xplorie products with Ventrata.

  • Receive bookings, updates, and cancellations from Xplorie to Ventrata.

  • Issue vouchers/tickets from Ventarta to Xplorie customers instantly.

Creating Connection

Before you begin:

  • You must have a commercial agreement with Xplorie to use this connection. To inquire about partnering with them contact them by submitting a form via https://xplorie.com/contact-us-ap

  • You must have Xplorie created as a Reseller in Ventrata with their pricing (retail, wholesale/commission) defined correctly. Note that this API connection requires that the reseller is set to the "Bill to my account" settlement method.

  1. In Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections โ†’ Connections, click + New Connection, and select Xplorie from the list of partners.

  2. Select Xplorie Reseller from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection). The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration like pricing, whitelisted destinations, products, etc.

  3. (Optional) You can also set the connection Name of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Xplorie connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future. If needed, you can also whitelist/blacklist products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Xplorie connections linked to one reseller.



Mapping Products

  1. Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Xplorie contact and ask for them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically it takes a few business days for the Xplorie team to complete this.

  2. (Optional) While Xplorie team can access the full list of products you've enabled for them on the connection, you can also specify which product you would like them to map by providing the Product and Option IDs displayed on the connection page when you contact them.

Possible Solutions

No products are displayed on the connection page.

Please check double-check which destinations, products and options are whitelisted/blacklisted on reseller and connection. If this does not resolve, check if your products and options are made available for sales on Direct API source. If the issue persists, please contact our support team.
