How to Use the Print Errors Table

The Print Errors page is a log of all the print errors that occurred on your payment terminals.

Default Columns

  • Error - the error description

  • Shift Seller - the seller logged in on the device on which the print error occurred

  • Shift Location - the location of the device

  • Product - the product during the sale of which the print error occurred

  • Creation Date - the date of the print error

  • Creation Time - the time of the print error

Additional columns include:

  • Shift ID - alphanumeric ID of the shift

  • Terminal - the name of the terminal device

  • Reason - the reason of the print error, if provided by the seller

  • Notes - notes on the print error, if add by the seller

  • Has Evidence - indicates whether any evidence (scanned voucher or ticket) was uploaded by the seller

  • ID - alphanumeric ID of the print error

Columns can be easily filtered by pressing the arrow next to the column title.

The most common errors are:

  • App Crashed or Restarted by User

  • Out of paper

  • Printer voltage is too low

But there can also be some more specific ones.

Actions

The action bar between the navigation bar and the bookings table enables you to perform a number of additional functions.

  • Search bar - filter the bookings table, using any parameter from the available columns, see Generate Report below

  • Keep Filter - when using search, tick the checkbox to make the column filters available

  • Saved Searches - press Saved Searches> Save Current Search to save your current search parameters and filtered columns, or Saved Searches > Manage Searches to edit or delete existing searches

  • Reset All Filters - appears when a filter was used; press to reset filters to their default states

  • Bulk Actions - select one or multiple bookings and press to apply an action on your selection; options include

Download Evidence

download a zip file of evidence, if evidence was submitted to the selected print errors

  • Show Columns - press to add new columns, or remove existing ones from your current view

  • Export - export the bookings table in CSV, Excel or SQL format

  • Generate Report - create charts and reports to analyse data from the booking table
