Troubleshooting Missing Guides in Reports and Manifests

Learn how to display guides correctly when multiple allocations are used for the same tour time.

Problem

When more than one guide is added to the same tour time, no guides are displayed in the manifest or bookings table.

Reason

Guides can be assigned either at the booking level or resource allocation level.

  • If there is only one resource allocation, the guide is copied from the resource allocation to the booking level.

  • If there are multiple resource allocations, guide information will not appear on booking-level views. You must report on the resource allocation level data instead.



Solution

Manifest

Update your product's manifest view as follows:

  1. Select the Resource Allocations dataset in the manifest settings.

  2. (Optional) Add the 'Resource Allocations' column in your manifest view.

You will now see a breakdown of each resource allocation for the tour time, including the guides in the appropriate column.

Bookings Table

  1. In the Bookings table, press the Show Columns button.

  2. Add the 'Resource Allocations' column.

All resources assigned to the tour time are displayed in the 'Resource Allocations' column.
