The Ventrata Product Analytics Dashboard and A/B Testing platform provide a complete picture of how customers interact with your web checkout widget. It helps you measure performance, identify friction points, and optimise your conversions all directly within your existing setup.
This platform combines:
Real time behaviour analytics: See what users do, where they drop off, and what drives sales.
A/B testing capabilities: Experiment with pricing, upsells, and content variations to find what performs best.
Privacy compliant tracking: Fully integrated with your Consent Management Platform (CMP).
Key Features
Complete Checkout Journey Analytics
Track every step of the customer journey from the initial Book Now click to final purchase confirmation.
Track every step of the customer journey from the initial Book Now click to final purchase confirmation.
The dashboard shows how many visitors add items to cart, how many complete the checkout, and where others drop off.
By visualising these funnels and conversion rates, you can pinpoint exactly where customers hesitate and address pain points in the flow. You’ll also see key metrics at a glance (unique users, items purchased, total revenue, average order value, etc.) to benchmark your performance over time.
📗 TIP
See the Tracking Manual for a full overview of all tracked events.

You can analyse step by step drop off rates (e.g. Product View → Add to Cart → Purchase) to find where users get stuck.
Break down these metrics by device, browser, product, or other segments to catch platform specific issues.
Real-Time Monitoring & Alerts
The platform updates with new data every day and charts are even non hourly basis that allows you to spot sudden drops in conversion or spikes in errors as they happen.

If an issue arises (for instance, an upsell offer stops working), you’ll see the impact immediately in the dashboard. This acts as an early warning system for your checkout’s health enabling you to react quickly and minimise revenue loss.
Built-In A/B Testing
Experimentation is baked directly into the platform no external tools or coding required.
Experimentation is baked directly into the platform no external tools or coding required.
The A/B Testing Engine lets you run controlled experiments in your checkout widget through simple product configuration. You can test almost any element (different upsells, pricing, content, or feature toggles) to scientifically determine what works best for conversion.
The system will automatically split traffic between your variants, track user interactions, and even calculate statistical significance of the results. This all-in-one approach means you get both the tracking and the testing in one place, making it easy to iterate and optimise continuously.
Privacy-Compliant by Design
All user tracking and experiments respect consent preferences automatically.
All user tracking and experiments respect consent preferences automatically.
Via a one-time integration, your CMP feeds consent status into the Ventrata checkout widget, ensuring analytics data is collected only when permitted.
📗 TIP
Refer to the CMP Integration Guide for Ventrata Checkout Widget for the implementation.
If a user opts out, tracking is disabled for that session. This guarantees that your analytics remain accurate and useful while maintaining full compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
The platform was built to meet strict European data protection standards from the ground up, so you don’t have to worry about legal or privacy issues.
No-Code, Turnkey Setup
Unlike generic analytics tools that require custom event coding or tag management, Ventrata’s solution is plug-and-play for the web checkout.
Unlike generic analytics tools that require custom event coding or tag management, Ventrata’s solution is plug-and-play for the web checkout.
Once you complete a quick initial setup (primarily integrating your CMP for consent), the system automatically begins capturing all relevant checkout events – product views, add-to-carts, checkouts, purchases, etc. – along with metadata like device type, browser, location, and timestamps.
No development work is needed on your side to instrument events. If you know how to configure products in Ventrata, you can use Product Analytics from day one. This means even non-technical teams can leverage a full analytics and experimentation platform without the usual setup hassle.
Expert Support and Consulting

Every paid subscription includes hands-on support to help you succeed.
Our team will assist with onboarding (like CMP integration setup) and provide ongoing guidance. You’ll receive, for example, a monthly review call with our analytics experts to interpret the data, discuss results, and identify opportunities.
We understand that analytics and A/B testing can be daunting, so we ensure you’re not left on your own.
📗 TIP
And if you ever need deeper assistance, we offer optional professional services for advanced analysis or custom experiment implementation – see Pricing and Plans.
One-Time Setup Requirements
To unlock the full potential of the Product Analytics suite, a one-time setup is required. The process is straightforward:
Integrate Your CMP (Consent Management Platform)
This is a mandatory first step to enable analytics and experiments in a privacy-compliant way.
Your CMP must send the user’s consent choices to the Ventrata checkout widget via our provided API call. In practice, this involves using a method (e.g.
window.Ventrata.updateConsents()) to pass consent parameters for analytics, ads, personalisation, etc., immediately after the widget loads.📗 TIP
See our CMP Integration Guide for details on supported consent fields and examples.
Completing this step ensures that tracking will only run for users who have given appropriate consent. It also prevents gaps in your data – without the CMP connected, the analytics might miss events or user info for sessions where consent isn’t established, leading to fragmented reports.
In short, CMP integration is what allows you to gather complete and compliant data for accurate analysis.
Confirm Tracking Activation
Once the CMP integration is in place, Ventrata’s system will automatically begin collecting events from your checkout widgets. All tracking is aligned with user consents. There’s nothing else you need to do to “turn on” the analytics, it will start capturing behaviour data as users interact with your checkout in real time.
You can expect to see events like
view_item,add_to_cartactions,checkout starts, purchases, etc., along with device, browser, location, and timing info. We recommend doing a quick test booking on your site after CMP setup, then checking your dashboard to verify that events are showing up.
Access Your Dashboard
After activation, our team will share with you a dedicated Product Analytics dashboard accessible via your existing Ventrata Dashboard UI.
This dashboard is pre-built and ready to use – it will contain all the visualisations and reports for your checkout analytics and any A/B tests. Data coverage will begin from March 1, 2024 onward.
📒 NOTE
For free plan users, data history is limited to the last 1 month upgrading to a paid plan unlocks the full historical dataset. Learn more about individual plans in our Pricing and Plans article.
