Problem
Certain Central and Eastern European characters are not displayed correctly when formatted bold on vouchers.
Reason
Built-in PDF fonts (Helvetica, Times New Roman, Courier) do not fully support special Central and Eastern European characters, such as:
Solution
In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Products > Templates.
Templates
Select the affected template.
Press the Edit Layout button.
Edit Layout
In the voucher template editor, select the text element.
In the horizontal toolbar, change the font to DejaVuSans.
Change Font
Press the Save button to save your changes.
Save
Navigate to the Bookings table.
Select a booking of a product that is associated with the template.
Press the Print Voucher button and select the applicable template.
Select Template
In the PDF voucher, verify that the character is correctly formatted.
