πŸ” Required Role Permissions: Templates

Voucher templates enable your business to send vouchers to customers at previously specified stages of the booking lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. For instance, a customer may receive a voucher immediately after booking a tour, as a confirmation, or just before their travel date as a reminder.

Using the Ventrata dashboard, voucher templates can be highly customised to meet your operation's needs. Tailor the voucher design using extensive toolbar options and populate content with re-usable elements thanks to Ventrata printing variables using a format that best aligns with your branding and messaging.

Create Voucher Template

  1. In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Products > Templates.

  2. Press the + New Template button.

  3. Enter a name for the voucher template.

  4. Select what the voucher is for:

    • Tickets & Bookings

    • Just Bookings

    • Just Tickets

    • Gift Cards

  5. Enter the dimensions of the voucher in PDF points.

    πŸ“— TIP

Space in a PDF file is measured in PDF points, where 1 inch = 72 PDF points.

    For instance:

    • an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper ('Letter' size, US) converts to 612 x 792 PDF points

    • an 8.27" x 11.69" piece of paper (A4) converts to 595 x 842 PDF points

  6. Add existing tags or start typing and press Enter to add new ones.

  7. Select what languages the template is for.

  8. Select which booking statuses use this template.

  9. Select which sources the template is applied for.

  10. Select which reseller settlement methods the template is applied for.

  11. Select which product and reseller destinations use the template.

  12. Blacklist products, bands or resellers, that do not use the template. Conversely, uncheck the 'Whitelist All' box to select ONLY those products, bands and resellers that use the template.

  13. Press the Create Template button.

Edit Template Layout

  1. Use the user toolbar to add elements to the template.

  2. Press the Save button.

  3. When saved, upon re-opening, the template can be duplicated. You can create a similar template changing only some details.
