In your Ventrata Dashboard, create a new Checkout that will be dedicated to this API connection. Do NOT integrate this Checkout into your own website. Inntopia loads it inside their cart to capture product, option, availability and unit selections.

Confirm the Checkout is using the External Gateway card payment method, unless you have separately agreed to process the payment through your own Ventrata gateway.

On that Checkout, add every domain Inntopia will load the widget from to the allowed hosts. Requests from any domain not listed return HOSTNAME_NOT_ALLOWED, so ask your Inntopia contact for their full list of staging and production domains before you begin testing.

In your Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections → Connections, click + New Connection, and select Inntopia Commerce from the list of partners. Then select the Checkout you created in Step 1.

Set the connection Name of your choosing. If you expect more than one Inntopia connection (for example, separate resorts or separate sales channels), name them so they can be told apart later.

(Optional) If needed, you can allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection so that only the inventory covered by your agreement is exposed.

Share the OCTO API key shown on the connection you created with your Inntopia contact to complete the setup.
