Go City is a leading provider of multi-attraction passes, offering tourists a convenient and cost-effective way to explore top destinations.

This operator connection (also referred to as backend) allows you to connect Go City system to resell their passes through Ventrata more efficiently and automatically. The capabilities of this connection include:

  • Syncing pass pricing from Go City system.

  • Posting bookings (pass purchase) and cancellations from Ventrata to Go City.

  • Receiving pass QR code from Go City system and issuing them to your customers.

Looking for the connection for Go City to resell your products, and to be able scan and redeem their passes instead? See Go City Reseller Connection.

Configuring Operator Backend

Before You Begin:

  1. Once you have a commercial agreement in place to sell Go City passes, contact your Go City contact or [email protected] and request "Trade API credentials" and products you intend to sell added to your account. Credentials you will need should include GoCity User & GoCity Password.

  2. In the Ventrata Dashboard, navigate to Products → Operators, and select the Go City operator for which you would like to set up the connection.

  3. In the Backend Partner section, choose Go City from the list of available connections and enter the GoCity User & GoCity Password received.

  4. Click Update Operator to save the configuration.

Mapping Products

Once the operator has been configured with its backend, you can proceed to Product Mapping—the process of connecting your Ventrata products and options with the corresponding products and options from the Go City system:

  1. In the Ventrata Dashboard, navigate to Products → Products and select the product you would like to map to the Go City system.

  2. Edit the product and ensure the Operator is set to the correct operator, where you have already configured the backend.

  3. Check Backend Connected for this product to use the API connection (backend). To pull availability from Go City, ensure Backend Availability is checked (this will automatically create unlimited/freesell availability as per Go City configuration). If you do not check Backend Availability, the product will use the availability as configured in Ventrata but will still post bookings to Go City. Click Update Product to save.

  4. The product page will now display the Mappings tab. Navigate to this tab and map your Ventrata product, option(s), and units by selecting the corresponding products, options, and units from the dropdown lists as received from Go City. Ensure that no fields are left empty (unmapped), and click Save Changes.
