Create attractive discounts for your customers by utilising promotions. You have the choice to create your own promotion codes or have the Ventrata dashboard generate random codes.
Once your promotions are all setup, this is how you can assign them during booking in different modes of the Ventrata terminal app.

Prerequisites:
Terminal Mode
The Terminal mode allows you to select or apply pre-selected promotion codes with booked products.
Multi-code promotion
Create a booking with associated promotion codes.
Select the number of units.

Select a promotion from the Promotion section.
Select a code associated with the promotion.
Select Promotion Code
Remove a promotion by tapping on the promotion code. Then select a new one by tapping on the Select button.
Select the number of units.
Select a date and tour time if applicable.
Press the Add button to add the booking to the order.
Continue shopping or press the Checkout button to finish the order.
Single-code promotion
Create a booking with an associated promotion.
Select the number of units.
Select a date and tour time if applicable.

Select Promotion
Remove a promotion by tapping on the promotion code. Then select a new one by tapping on the Select button.
Press the Add button to add the booking to the order.
Continue shopping or press the Checkout button to finish the order.
Kiosk Mode
In Kiosk mode, customers can apply a promotion code themselves during checkout.
Select a product in the Ventrata terminal app.
Select a unit, date and tour time (if applicable).
Press Continue to navigate to the Summary page.
Press the Apply promo code button.
Scan the promo code or enter it manually using the onscreen keyboard.
Press Look up.
Enter Promo Code
If the promotion code is valid and available for the selected product, it is applied automatically and the discounted price is reflected in the order total.

The clear breakdown of the discounted price is displayed in the panel on the right.
To remove a promotion code, press the X on the promotion code button. You can then scan a new one or enter a different code.
Continue shopping or press the Checkout button to finish the order.
Concierge Mode
A reseller using the terminal in Concierge mode already knows the promotion code and can enter the code manually.
Select a product in the Ventrata terminal app.
Select 'Custom Promotion Code'.
Tap on the 'Enter Code' text in the Code section.
Type the custom code using the keyboard.
Type Custom Code
Remove a promotion by deleting the code. Then enter a new one using the onscreen keyboard.
Select the number of units.
Select a date and tour time if applicable.
Press the Add button to add the booking to the order.
Continue shopping or press the Checkout button to finish the order.
