Pages in the web checkout feature static content that rarely changes, such as 'About', 'Contact' or 'Terms and Conditions'. These pages contain information that remains relevant over time.

Create a New Page

  1. In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Web Checkouts > Pages.

  2. Press the + New Page button.

  3. Select the checkout, where the page will be hosted.

  4. Select a destination in the checkout, where the page will be accessible from.

    πŸ“— TIP

The page will be part of the destination section on the web checkout.

  5. Select in what languages the page will be available.

  6. Check the boxes to enable the following features:

    • Active - the page is visible on the checkout

    • Fullpage - the page takes up the full width of the screen; when disabled, margins will be applied to the sides of the page

    • Show Header - the header is visible on the page

    • Show Footer - the footer is visible on the page

  7. Enter the page title. The page title appears on the browser tab and is used to create the URL path

  8. The URL path is automatically created using the page title but it can be changed.

    πŸ“— TIP

When saved, the URL path auto-populates with the title. You can change it a path of your own choosing.

  9. Add metadata to improve the page's SEO and help potential customers find the page easier.

  10. Enter the body of the page.

    πŸ“— TIP

You can format the page in HTML.

    πŸ“’ NOTE

Repeat steps 8.-10. for every language in which the checkout is supported.

  11. Press the Create Page button.

πŸ“— TIP
