These settings let you define which items are allowed or disallowed when applying rules to products, resellers, or other configuration areas.
You can restrict based on:

Categories
Checkout
(or any other item type where Allow / Disallow is shown)
How to Configure
You can restrict items using one of two methods:
🈳 Allow / Disallow by specific items
Select individual items to include or exclude.
Example: Allow only these products or Disallow these resellers.
Disallow Item
🏷️ Allow / Disallow by tags
Enter tags to include or exclude all items that match the tag.
Example: Disallow all products tagged as VIP.
Allow Tag
Allow All & Allow No
These two checkboxes define how the rules behave.
Allow All
Determines whether everything is allowed unless specified otherwise.
Setting | Description |
✅ Allow All | Everything is allowed, except listed items or tags (disallow list). |
🔲 Allow All | Nothing is allowed, unless you list items or tags (allow list). |
Allow No
Determines whether categories without a value can still apply.
Setting | Description |
✅ Allow No | The item is not required to have a value (e.g., a question without a reseller is still valid) |
🔲 Allow No | The item must have a value (e.g., a question must have a reseller to apply) |

The UI shows how many items are currently allowed or disallowed, and whether the item is required.

⛔️ WARNING
Avoid using Nothing Allowed — this block all items for this category, which prevents the rule from applying at all and may break the intended configuration.
