Alongside consumer sales, it runs a show organiser tier for venues, promoters, and resellers, segmented by weekly ticket volume from under 1,000 to over 3,000.
This connection enables you to sell your products on Your Own Box Office by automatically syncing your availability, pricing, and bookings in real time. The capabilities of this connection allow you to:

Creating Connection
Prerequisites:
Before connecting to the Your Own Box Office API, ensure you have:
A commercial agreement with Your Own Box Office for them to sell your products.
Your Own Box Office created as a Reseller in Ventrata with retail and wholesale/commission pricing correctly configured.
In the Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections > Connections.
Press the + New Connection button.
Select 'Your Own Box Office' from the list of partners.

Select 'Your Own Box Office' from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection).
The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, allowed destinations, products, etc.

(Optional) You can also set the connection 'Name' of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple Your Own Box Office connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future.

If needed, you can also allow/disallow products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple Your Own Box Office connections linked to one reseller.

Mapping Products
Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your Your Own Box Office contact and ask them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API. Typically, it takes no longer than a few business days for the Your Own Box Office team to complete this.
Your Ventrata configuration is complete. You do not need to take any further steps.
