Creating Connection

Before you begin:

  • You must have a commercial agreement with New Globus for them to sell your products. To inquire about partnering with them, visit https://www.florence-tickets.com/contact-us

  • You must have New Globus created as a Reseller in Ventrata with their pricing (retail, wholesale/commission) configured correctly. Note that this API connection requires that the reseller is set to "Bill to my account" settlement method.

  1. In Ventrata Dashboard, go to Connections โ†’ Connections, click + New Connection, and select New Globus from the list of partners.

  2. Select New Globus Reseller from the list of your resellers (must be created before creating a connection). The connection will inherit the reseller's configuration, like pricing, whitelisted destinations, products, etc.

  3. (Optional) You can also set the connection Name of your choosing, which may be helpful if you plan to have multiple New Globus connections and would like to differentiate between them more easily in the future. If needed, you can also whitelist/blacklist products or destinations on the connection level in addition to what you have configured on the reseller, which can be helpful if you have multiple New Globus connections linked to one reseller.



Mapping Products

  1. Email the OCTO API key shown on the connection you've created to your New Globus contact and ask for them to map your products using Ventrata's OCTO API.

  2. (Optional) While New Globus team can access the full list of products you've enabled for them on the connection, you can also specify which product you would like them to map by providing the Product and Option IDs displayed on the connection page when you contact them.

No products are displayed on the connection page.

Please double-check which destinations, products and options are whitelisted/blacklisted on reseller and connection. If this does not resolve, check if your products and options are made available for sales on the Direct API source. If the issue persists, please contact our support team.
