A reseller gift voucher is a value-based voucher distributed by a reseller and issued by a supplier. Instead of being tied to a specific product, it represents a monetary amount that can be redeemed—fully or partially—against one or more products sold on behalf of the original service provider.
The gift voucher serves as proof of purchase and must be presented by the customer at the time of redemption.
Prerequisites
The desired resellers are allowed on the Location.
The 'Reseller Voucher' payment method is enabled on the Location.
The 'Allow Gifts' is enabled on the Location.
The gift voucher minimum and maximum gift voucher amounts are configured in the Supplier Settings.
In the Ventrata terminal app, go to the Sales
tab.Tap the Reseller Gift Voucher button.

Select the reseller who sold the gift voucher to the customer.
Select Reseller
On the Scan Voucher page, you can take a picture of the gift voucher by tapping the Take Picture button.
📗 TIP
You have the option to:
Retake the picture
Add another picture
The number of pictures taken is indicated on the Done button in parentheses ( ).
The pictures are then available from the gift entry in the Ventrata dashboard.
You may also skip this step by pressing the Skip button in the top-right corner of the page.
Scan Voucher
Review your pictures by tapping on the circle in the bottom-right corner of the scan area.
Review Picture(s)
Delete pictures by pressing the bin icon, or tap outside the picture to return to the Scan Voucher page.
Press the Done button to move on to the next step.
Enter the gift voucher amount.
📗 TIP
The minimum value of the gift voucher is determined by the value entered in the 'Gift Card Min Amount' field in the Supplier Settings.
Press the Add button to continue.
Gift Card
On the Delivery Method page, select how the gift voucher should be delivered by
Print Tickets – if a printer is available
Send via SMS – select country code and enter phone number
Send via Email – enter email address
Send via QR Code – a QR code is generated on your device for the customer to scan or save
Scan City Pass – guidance in the next step
📒 NOTE
If the Scan City Pass delivery method is selected, select each order and scan the customer’s City Pass.
Press the Continue button.
Continue
Once the tickets are delivered, a confirmation page is shown.
The device is now ready for a new order.
