Gift cards typically have a stored value that can be used across multiple transactions until the balance is depleted, for example, to purchase an experience or a gift shop item. Gift cards are often used as gifts for friends, family, or colleagues, allowing recipients the flexibility to choose their own items or experiences.
With Ventrata, customers can purchase gift cards for any desired amount. These can then be used to purchase any product from your offering.
Gift cards can be sold and redeemed through:

Gift cards cannot be sold through kiosks, but they can be accepted as a payment method if enabled on the location.

Enable Gift Card Payment Method
Make sure 'Gift Card' is enabled as a payment method on each location where you accept gift cards.

In your Ventrata dashboard, go to Ticket Terminals > Locations.

Select your location or create a new one.

Scroll down the form or search for 'Gift Card'.
Check the 'Gift Card' box to accept gift cards as a payment method.

Redeem Gift Cards
Customers can use gift cards as a form of payment.

Prerequisites:
Customers must have already purchased a gift card through one of the available sales channels (Backoffice, Web Checkout or Terminal).
Press the Buy Tickets button to make a new booking.
Select the number of tickets, and the tour date and time.
On the Choose Payment Method page, select Pay with Gift Card.
Scan or enter the gift card reference.
If the gift card balance covers the full amount, continue by selecting a delivery method.
If the gift card balance covers only part of the total, either:
select another payment method (typically a credit or debit card), or
redeem another gift card to cover the remaining balance.

For emailed gift cards, the code appears next to the GIFT CARD CODE. Include this code on the printed gift receipt as well.
