A two-stage redemption flow includes:

any operation that needs visibility of attendance before redemption

In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Products > Products.
Products
Select an existing product or create a new one.
In the Ticketing & Redemption section, enable the 'Checkin Required' checkbox.

📒 NOTE
Location-level setting applies to the Terminal app. It is not required for two-stage redemption to work on the Dashboard. You will need to configure it once Terminal app support is released.

Enable the 'Check In' checkbox in the location's Allowed Next Actions.

Choose whether check-in applies to all products and options, or to specific ones.

📒 NOTE
Two-stage redemption is currently available on the Dashboard only.
After an order is made, go to Bookings > Bookings.

Select the appropriate booking.
Before tickets in the booking are redeemed, press the Check In button on the booking detail to check in all tickets.
This indicates that the customer arrived at the attraction, but has not yet participated in the purchased experience.

Change the status of individual tickets by pressing the Make Changes button.

Select the status for each ticket in the booking.

📗 TIP
For bookings with multiple tickets, the booking shows Part Checked In until every ticket is checked in. This is useful for telling whether the full party arrived.

The Redeem button is disabled until all tickets in the booking are checked in.

Once all tickets are checked in, you can redeem tickets as usual.
📗 TIP
Undo check-in using the Un-Check In button on the booking detail or change ticket statuses for each ticket individually.
