You can upload a screensaver to your kiosk that displays when the device is inactive. This can be a single image, a loop of multiple images, or a video.
Screensavers are currently supported for terminals in:
Unattended scan-only mode (without a Quick Sale preset)
To ensure your screensaver loads correctly, follow these recommendations:

Create Screensaver Config
Log in to your Ventrata dashboard.
Go to Ticket Terminals > Configs.
Configs
Press the + New config button.
New Config
Select the 'Screensaver' config.
Screensaver
Enter a name for your screensaver.
Upload the screensaver file.
Then, press the Create Config button to save.

Assign Screensaver to Kiosk
In the Ventrata dashboard, go to Ticket Terminals > Terminals.
Terminals
Select your terminal that is in kiosk mode.
In the 'Config' field, select your screensaver config.

Press the Update Terminal button to save your settings.

When the terminal is idle for more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the screensaver will automatically appear on the screen.
