Pass vs Non-Pass

Pass type multi-date packages

A pass type multi-date package is a package where included products are independent and can be used, scheduled, or managed separately within the package’s validity period.

Each include functions as its own booking, allowing customers to pick includes individually, reschedule or cancel them one by one, and use them on different dates or times.

Example: a city pass that includes a museum ticket, a bus tour, and an attraction entry — each experience can be used independently.

Non-Pass type multi-date packages

A non-pass type multi-date package is a package where all included products are interdependent and must be used together. Individual includes cannot function, be rescheduled, or be cancelled on their own.

Example: a cable car up + down package — both rides are required for the experience to work, so they are managed as a single unit.

Because of this dependency, availability and rescheduling are handled at the package level, not per include.
