Pickups, Transfers & Meeting Section
Enable only the options that suit your use case.
Field | Description |
Pickup Required | Pickup is automatically enabled, and the customer must select a pickup point from the available options to complete the booking. |
Allow Custom Pickup | Customers can choose whether they want a pickup; they can select from predefined options or set a custom pickup date and time, and provide their room number if staying at a hotel. |
Custom Pickup Required | Customers must specify their own preferred pickup date and time, and provide their room number if staying at a hotel. |
Default Pickup | The pickup point is preselected for the customer. If 'Allow Custom Pickup' is enabled, the customer can change the pickup point. |
Dropoff Required | Dropoff is automatically enabled, and the customer must select a dropoff point from the available options to complete the booking. |
Allow Custom Dropoff | Customers can choose whether they want a dropoff; they can select from predefined options or set a custom dropoff date and time, and provide their room number if staying at a hotel. |

📒 NOTE
In the MMB portal, customers always select from the list of predefined pickup or dropoff points. The same list is shown whether 'Pickup Required', 'Allow Custom Pickup', 'Custom Pickup Required' or 'Default Pickup' is configured. Custom pickup dates, times and room numbers can’t be entered in the MMB portal. The same applies to dropoffs.

If your product has options, enable pickup and dropoff settings as appropriate.

Option settings override product settings.

Pickup Allowed | Customers can choose whether they want a pickup. |
Pickup Required | If both 'Pickup Allowed' and 'Pickup Required' are enabled, pickup is enforced, and the customer must select a pickup point from the available options to complete the booking. |

Enable pickup and dropoff settings for individual tour times as appropriate.

Routes | Assign routes made up of available pickup or dropoff points. |
Pickup and Dropoff Selection Flow

Both pickup and dropoff selections follow the same steps. This guide describes both in parallel.
Log in to the MMB portal.
Locate the booking.
Press the Select pick-up point / Select drop-off point button.

📒 NOTE
The Select pick-up point / Select drop-off point buttons are only displayed when pickups or dropoffs are available for the booking and the booking can still be changed. They are hidden on cancelled bookings and once the booking's cancellation or booking cutoff has passed. There is no separate cutoff for pickup or dropoff changes.

📒 NOTE
For package bookings, all includes that support pickups or dropoffs are shown on the selection screen. Select a point for each include as needed.

Press the Continue button.

Review your selection and the balance shown on the summary page.
Press the Confirm button.

📒 NOTE
If no point was selected before, the review page shows a crossed-out None, which means this is a new selection rather than a change. If the customer is changing an existing selection, the original point is crossed out.

Once confirmed, a success message is displayed at the top of the booking detail.
