All websites created using the Ventrata web builder will be automatically upgraded to the new content management system (CMS) by end of March 2025. This update will introduce several changes to the look and feel of your website. However, all your product information, branding, and content will remain unchanged.

The updated CMS brings several improvements to your websites, including:

You will find a detailed overview of the CMS across various page layouts, along with explanations of where each content element is pulled from.


Landing Page

By default, the web checkout using the new CMS will display the destination gallery as the landing page.

You can change the landing page to a different page in the web checkout settings.

Customers who select a destination through the:

  • destination selector

  • destination gallery

  • search results

will be redirected to the destination landing page.

Category Pages

Categories help organise products into meaningful groups. Customers can access them from:

Categories automatically appear in the footer of a destination and product pages if the destination's products belong to those categories.

When accessed from a destination or product page, the list of categories is filtered to match the selected destination's products.

The Categories page inherits the navigation from its source (landing page, destination, or product page).
